Vintage 1962 COLOR photo of Ferrari 330 TRI LM S/N 0808 at Le Mans 1962.
This is a vintage 1962 colour photo of the factory entered Ferrari 330 TRI LM of Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill en route to victory in the 1962 running of the 24 Heures du Mans.
In the photo, we see Olivier getting a hand to climb over the pit wall after his stint. Taking all aspects into account (like the shadows, the dirt on the car etc) this photo was taken around 11 o'clock in the morning of June 24, 1962 (how lovely it is to discover such details on a COLOR photo!).
The car, which bears race number 6 here is S/N 0808 (previously 0780TR, a 250 TR 60, which frame was lengthened, a Fantuzzi body was mounted and equipped with a 4 Liter 390 HP V12 engine) and which seems to reside in the USA now.
The photo measures some 9 x 9 cm or 3.5 x 3.5 inches.
The back carries the photographer's stamp.
It is in mint condition.

This is a vintage 1962 colour photo of the factory entered Ferrari 330 TRI LM of Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill at the very start of the 1962 running of the 24 Heures du Mans.
In the photo, we see the VERY start of the race where Phil Hill makes an athletic jump into the car so it was taken at 4 o'clock in the afternoon of June 23, 1962.
Vintage 1962 photo of Ferrari 250 TRI/61 S/N 0792TR at the Nurburgring 1000 KM.
This is a vintage 1962 photo of the Scuderia Serenissima Ferrari 250 TRI 61 which was driven by Carlo Abate & Nino Vaccarella during the Nurburgring 1000 KM race.
The car crashed out of the race in lap 7.
The car has an extensive racing history and now seems to reside in the USA.
The Morgan in the foreground is the Plus 4 of Guy & Claude Savoye which finished 25th.

Vintage 1962 Photo of Ferrari 246 SP S/N 0796, Targa Florio.
This is a vintage 1962 photo of the 246SP, S/N 0796, during preparation for the 1962 Targa Florio.
The car would win the race, driven by Willy Mairesse, Ricardo Rodriguez & Olivier Gendebien.
The car in question is the 246 SP S/N 0796 which was later modified to serve as a mule for the Tipo 250 P and crashed during practise for the 1963 Targa Florio. The car burnt out completely and was assumed to have been scrapped although parts of it seem to survive.
In the background we see the # 108 Porsche 718 GTR of Nino Vaccarella & Jo Bonnier which would finish 3rd overall.
The photo measures some 5.5 x 3.5 inches or 13.5 x 9 cm and is in excellent condition. The back carries NO photographer' stamp.

This is a vintage 1962 photo of the factory entered Ferrari 330 TRI LM of Olivier Gendebien and Phil Hill en route to victory and approaching the braking area for Mulsanne corner, shortly after having negotiated the Hundieres bump (which was still "ernormous" at that time) and about to overtake / outbrake the C.D. Panhard Dyna of Andre Guilhaudin & Alain Bertaut which would finish in 16th spot in the 1962 running of the 24 Heures du Mans.
The photo measures some 22 x 18 cm or 8.6 x 7 inches.

This is a vintage 1963 photo of these 4 magnificent cars hurdling down the Hunaudieres straight during the 1963 running of the 24 Heures du Mans.

1963 Targa Florio Pits print - Ferrari 250P - Simca Abarth 1300 Bialbero.
This is a vintage 1964 print of a pits scene during practice for the 1963 running of the Targa Florio.
It shows the # 174 Ferrari 250P S/N 0810 of Mike Parkes & John Surtees (accident after 4 laps) and the Abarth Simca 1300 Bialbero o# 40 of Enzo Buzzetti & Renzo Sinibaldi (DNF after 2 laps).
The Ferrari is S/N 0810 which survives to this date in the USA.
The print COULD come from Castrol Oil as we have seen similar images in Castrol publications of that era and measures some 25 x 18 cm or 10 x 7 inches.
It is in near mint condition.
Vintage 1963 photo of Ferrari 250 P S/N 0810 - 24 Heures du Mans - Mike Parkes / Umberto Maglioli.
This is a vintage photograph of the Ferrari 250P (# 22) of Mike Parkes & Umberto Maglioli during the April 6 & 7 1963 tests / qualification for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The duo would go on to finish 3rd in the race with a total of 323 Laps to their name.
S/N 810 survives to this date in the USA.
This is a so-called "wire photo" which was sent around the world by Interpress from Paris, France in April 1963 and comes complete with a brief description as shown in the scan.
The photo measures some 18 x 13 cm or 7 x 5 inches.
The back carries the stamp of Interpress.
Very good condition but with pinholes in the corners.
Vintage 1964 Photo of the Ferrari 196 SP of Leandro Terra.
This is a vintage 1964 photo of the 196SP, S/N 0790, during the training day for the 1964 Targa Florio. Terra would partne up with Cesare Toppetti but unfortunately, the pair only managed 5 laps and dropped out of the race.
The car, S/N 0790, was bought by Terra in January 1964 and after a mere 4 races the car was stored until 2002. It now seems to reside in Germany.
The photo measures some 6 x 4 inches or 15 x 10 cm and is in excellent condition. The back carries NO photographer's stamp.
