Ferrari Daytona 365 GTB/4 Brochures Manuals Memorabilia and Literature
1971 Scaglietti Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Body Parts Catalog Blueprints.
A VERY rare catalog as these were issued by Carrozzeria Scaglietti and not by the Ferrari Technical department (although they were made with the consent of Ferrari of course)!
This covers the version with the retractable headlights.
Contrary to the mechanical parts catalogs which can still be found, the body parts catalog is as rare as hen's teeth! Who of you has ever seen one of these?
All the pages are blueprints (at that time still a common way of "copying" larger format drawings) and carry the Ferrari logo on the back.
The set consists of a total of 26 pages with drawings and parts listings.
Each page measures some 45 x 30 cm or 18 x 12 inches.
Very, VERY rare indeed!
Only 1 available.

Vintage June 1973 photograph of a hectic pitstop of Ferrari Daytona Competizione S/N 14407 during the 1973 running of the 24 Heures du Mans.
The car, driven by Jean-Claude Guérie and Cyril Grandet, was entered by the Shark Racing Team from France.
The car had to abandon in lap 174, 17 hours into the race, with gearbox problems.
The car, which has a very extensive racing history (amongst others 3 Le Mans entries and 3 Tour de France entries) survives to this day and seems to reside in an important Ferrari collection in The Netherlands.
The photograph is in near mint condition with only some very slight knocks to the corners.
It measures some 24 x 17,5 cm or 9 x 7 inches and is glossy black & white. It carries the photographer's stamp on the back.
This is a vintage print, i.e. printed shortly after the original image was captured on film.

Vintage 1974 24 Heures du Mans Qualifying Poster.
March 23 & 24, 1974.
39 x 59 cm.15.5 x 23.5 inches.
The 1974 Le Mans poster is part of the "The Global Appeal of the Race" era in Le Mans posters which lasted from 1972 to 1974.
The idea of putting the global appeal of the race on the poster stems from the graphic aspect of design of the program cover for the 1973 race.
The 1974 illustration, by Jean Jacquelin, adds the notion of a planet-wide event.
The Le Mans 24 Hour race is now amongst the greatest races on earth!
Design and production were in the hands of the Le Pilier Vert agency from Le Mans.
This poster for the 1974 qualifying / tests is a mono tone version of the poster for the actual race.
The race itself was won by Henri Pescarolo & Gerard Larousse in their # 7 Matra-Simca MS670C (S/N B-06) with a total of 338 laps to their name.
For the full results of this race, please the 1974 24 Heures du Mans Competitors & Results.

Vintage 1975 24 Heures du Mans Race Poster.
June 14 & 15, 1975.
77 x 60 cm.31 x 23.5 inches.
Near MINT condition.
A VERY scarce poster due to its unusual size and in this condition.
The 1975 poster was the start of a new era in Le Mans posters which ran from 1975 to 1980 and is symbolized by "Early Sponsorship and Advertising" where actual advertising appeared on the posters.
The advertising (in this case French cigarette brand Gitanes) stands out in the symbol of safety represented by the helmet in which the terraces in front of the main grandstands are reflected. Although striking from a marketing point of view, the poster lacks an essential piece of information... the year!
The poster is based on a touched-up color photo by Schwager while the production was in hands of Rousseau.
The race was won by Jackie Ickx and Derek Bell in their Nr 11 Gulf Mirage Gr. 8 with a total of 336 laps to their name.
For the full results of this race, please see 24 Heures du Mans results 1975.
