Vintage 1967 Photo of Lorenzo Bandini and Chris Amon with Edwina Winkie Louise at Daytona 24 Hours 1967

Vintage 1967 Photo of Lorenzo Bandini and Chris Amon being congratulated by Miss Firebird 1967, Edwina Winkie Louise at the Daytona 24 Hours 1967.

This is a fantastic vintage 1967 photo Lorenzo Bandini (& Chris Amon) after having won the 1967 Daytona 24 Hours and both gentlemen look remarkably fresh after such an exhausting race.

The duo won the race in their Ferrari 330 P3/4 S/N 0846 and Ferrari would score their illustrious 1-2-3 victory with all three cars crossing the finish line almost simultaneously.

The photo measures some 25 x 20 cm or 10 x 8 inches including the white border as shown, is in near mint condition and carries no references towards the photographer on the back.

This is a vintage print, i.e. printed shortly after the original image was captured on film.

Only 1 available.

Our thanks goes to David Hayes for identifying Edwina Winkie Louise in this photograph who would otherwise been known for ever as "the unknown blond woman". Thank you David!

Vintage 1967 photo of Ferrari 330 P4 S/N 0860 at the BOAC 500 by Geoffrey Goddard.

This is a vintage photo (i.e. printed shortly after the image was captured on film) of the Ferrari 330 P4 Barchetta of Chris Amon & Jackie Stewart en route to 2nd place overall in the 1967 running of the BOAC 500 at Brands Hatch after having lost the engine cover.

The car, S/N 0860, was modified from Berlinetta to Barchetta right before this race and it was its only race in this guise as it would be converted to a 350 CanAm Spyder Group 7 car after this.

It survives to this day minus its original body.

The photo is in mint condition, measures approximately 21 x 16 cm or 8 x 6 inches and carries the stamp of the great Godfrey Goddard on the back.

Vintage Original June 1968 Le Mans 24 Hours Poster

Vintage June 1968 24 Heures du Mans Race Poster (Race was postponed to September due to strikes and student riots in Paris).

June 15 & 16, 1968.

The poster shows the start on the 1967 edition with the Ferrari 330 P3 S/N 0846 of Chris Amon and Nino Vaccarella heading the pack away from the start.

It is part of the so-called "Modern Photographic Approach" era in Le Mans posters which lasted from 1964 - 1971.

The layout and production of this poster were in the hands of Imprimerie Oberthur who realized this poster based on a color photograph, by Andre Delourmel, of the start of the 1967 edition.

The race was won by Pedro Rodriguez & Lucien Bianchi in their # 9 John Wyer Ford GT40 with a total of 331 laps to their name.

The 1968 race would prove to be a disaster for Ferrari with the ONLY Ferrari that made it to the finish being the Ferrari 250 LM of David Piper and Richard Attwood in 7th place.

For the full results of this race, please see 24 Heures du Mans results 1968.

40 x 60 cm.
15.5 x 23.5 inches.

It is in near mint condition for its age with some very minor wrinkling over a length of about 2 inches on the right hand border which doesn't distract from the overall appearance.

Only 1 available.
