Vintage 1951 Photo of Ferrari 212 Export Touring Barchetta S/N 0102E Pietro Palmieri Giro delle Calabrie.
This is a tiny, but historically very important, vintage 1951 photo of Ferrari 212 Export 0102E with its then-owner Pietro Palmieri and codriver Vallechi on August 5, 1951 at the start of the Giro delle Calabrie which the duo would finish in 2nd place overall and first-in-class. This was the car's maiden race.
Palmieri raced the car once more after which it was sold to the Fox Studios in Hollywood who had the car rebodied by Autodromo in 1953 and used it in a movie.
The car still sports the Autodromo body today.
The original Touring body seems to have gone lost in the mists of time.
As far as we have been able to check, this is one of the very few, if not the only, known image of 0102E with its original Touring Barchetta body!
A truely unique opportunity to acquire a photograph of 0102E in its original guise.
The photo measures only some 4 x 5.75 cm (overall) and is in excellent condition for its age.
It does not carry any copyright stamps or clues towards the photographer.

Mint condition.
This poster is part of the so-called "Modern Photographic Approach" era in Le Mans posters which lasted from 1964 - 1971.

The unusual photo was taken trackside in 1969, only a few seconds after the start. The number 12 Porsche 917 was the most powerfull car ever entered at Le Mans until then. The driver puts down the power and smokes the tires as the brute speeds away in a perfectly controlled slide.
The race was won by Richard Attwood & Hans Herrmann in their Porsche 917K (S/N 023) with a total of 343 laps to their name.
For the full results of this race, please see 24 Heures du Mans results 1970.

Vintage 1982 Ferrari press release on the Grand Prix of Belgium held at Zolder.
This is a rather sad document that Ferrari issued prior to the Belgium Grand Prix in which Gilles Villeneuve would so sadly perish in qualifying in his Ferrari 126.
This rather simple, but highly original, document was issued to the press and informs about Ferrari's view of this race, which cars they brought (including a 126/C2 "scorta" or "t-car") and a map of the track including Gilles' shifting points. Of course, it also mentions Didier Pironi.

Vintage 1926 Photo of Enzo Ferrari with Amedeo Ruggeri and Sons - Motorcycle Racing at Piazza d'Armi in Modena.
This is an incredibly rare and VERY unusual Enzo Ferrari item!
This photo, which is vintage but the exact age is unknown, shows a, relatively, young Enzo Ferrari together with motorcycle racing champion Amedeo Ruggeri and Amedeo's 10 and 11 year old sons Gigi and Jader who are ready to take to the track at the Piazza d'Armi in Modena.
Enzo had always a keen interest in motorcycle racing but as his endeavors in car racing are much better documented, very little is known about his two-wheeled efforts.
It is however known that between 1932 and 1934 the Scuderia Ferrari did employ a good number of motorcycles for their racing clientele and that the Moderna workshop did have separate facilities to tune and repair Norton and Rudge motorcycles.
Quite a unique piece of Ferrari history!
It measures approximately 17.5 x 12.5 cm or 7 x 5 inches.
This official Ferrari factory issued postcard of Michele Alboreto and Rene Arnoux has been signed by "The Drake", Enzo Ferrari, himself in October 1984.

Only 1 available of course as every autographed item is unique and we provide a Certificate of Authenticity with it which guarantees that this is a genuine Enzo Ferrari signature.
Vintage 1924 Enzo Ferrari Circuito del Polesine Winner Alfa Romeo Advertisement.
This is an incredibly rare and VERY early Enzo Ferrari item!
In 1919 a young Enzo Ferrari was hired by CMN as a test driver. After some moderate success racing the CMN cars (which were largely coverted army trucks from WW1), he followed Ugo Sivocci to Alfa Romeo where he continued his racing career and eventually became the manager for the Alfa Romeo Corse racing department while also setting up his own Scuderia Ferrari
After WW2 he set up the Ferrari car company and the rest is history...
Enzo was not too succesfull as a racing driver, which lead him to his caraar switch towards management but he did manage to win a couple of races, one of the most famous being the Circuito del Polesine at Robigo on June 1, 1924 which he managed to win ahead of his later Scuderia Ferrari star driver Tazio Nuvolari on Chiribiri Voiturette.
Enzo drove an Alfa Romeo RLTF and finished the 299.09 km race in 2 hours and 45 minutes.
On the same day, Giuseppe Campari won the Montreux - Glion - Caux hillclimb in Switzerland with his Alfa Romeo RL.
Alfa Romeo, keen to capatalize on their racing successes, placed this advertisement, with as heading "Ogni corsa una vittoria!" (Every race a victory!) in the motoring press to bring these victories to the attention of the car buying public.
This advertisement originates from a June 1924 Italian car magazine and is in more than excellent condition.
A FANTASTIC period piece that is exceptionally well suited for framing!
It measures approximately 17.5 x 25 cm or 7 x 10 inches.
