Here we have a set of 2 vintage 1970's Polaroid photos of Ferrari 166 Inter Stablimenti Farina Cabriolet S/N 011S.
S/N 011S is the 1949 Geneva Motorshow car and was delivered to famous Italian movie director Roberto Rossellini in March of that year.
The car passed through a number of hands until it ended up with an owner in Massachusetts around 1976. That owner offered it for sale in 1979 and it seems to reside in Nevada since 1984.
Judging by the Massachusetts "Antique" number plate and other photographs that we acquired from the same source, these photos were taken between 1976 and 1979 during a classic car event in the USA.
Although the quality is not that great, one can clearly distinguish several important details and that by this period, the car was no longer in its original "Pea green" livery but red and was missing the front bumper.
Each photo measures some 8 x 8 cm or 3 x 3 inches (standard Polaroid size).
Only 1 set available.
