Vintage 1960's photo of Ferrari 365 P2/P3 S/N 0826 ''4 PH''.
This is a vintage late-1960's photo of the Ferrari 365 P2, S/N 0826, at rest while in the possession of David Clarke of Graypaul Motors fame.
The car started life as a 275 P2 in which configuration it was entered at the 1965 1000 KM of the Nurburgring (DNF).
After that race it was modified to 365 P2 configuration as which it ran at the 1965 24 Heures du Mans (again a DNF).
After that race, the top was cut down to be able to compete in Group 7.
Mike Parkes drove the car to 6th place in the 1965 Guards Trophy at Brands Hatch and it raced again at the 1966 24 Heures du Mans but again... a DNF...
That was to be the car's last race.
David Clarke acquired the car in 1966 and sold it to a famous fashion personality from New York in in 1987 who still seems to own the car.
While owned by David, the car was registered in the UK under number 4PH, as also shown in this picture.
The photo measures some 16.5 x 12 cm or 6.5 x 4.5 inches and is in good condition but does have two mild horizontal creases.
The back carries David's stamp.
