Get well telegram to Tazio Nuvolari from Weber Carburatori 1937.
Here we have a VERY rare item.
This telegram was sent on the 16th of April 1937 to Tazio Nuvolari when he was hospitalized after his crash in the "Il circuito di Torino" on the previous day.
Tazio drove an Alfa Romeo 12C-36 and managed best practice time before he crashed and ended up in hospital.
He left the hospital 3 days later, wearing a plaster corset and on May 9th he was already competing again in the Tripoli Grand Prix.
The telegram was sent by the Weber company (of carburetor fame) of Bologna, Italy.
It roughly translates into "Learned of you accident with great scare, whish you quick and complete recovery =Weber=".
Please note that all items pertaining to Tazio Nuvolari have been declared National Cultural Heritage by the Italian government and there is an export ban on those items so should this set be sold to Italy, it can NOT be exported again to outside Italy!
