This poster is in very good condition for its age but a slight stain in the yellow letter M of "Le Mans" in the top right had corner and slight vertical ripples which will probably be invisible when properly framed & matted. The price has been adjusted accordingly.

The poster shows the # 5 Ferrari 512 S (S/N 1038) of Jacky Ickx and Peter Schetty in the pouring rain going through Maison Blanche during the early stages of the 1970 edition, followed by the # 6 Ferrari 512 S of Nino Vaccarella & Ignazio Giunti (S/N 1044).

The race was won by Helmut Marko & Gijs van Lennep in their Porsche 917K (S/N 053) with a total of 397 laps (all time distance record).
