Original 1981 Monaco Grand Prix Poster.
The poster shows an artist's impression of Alan Jones in the 1980 world championship winning Williams FW07C.
Held from May to May 31, the race would be a good one for the Scuderia Ferrari as Gilles Villeneuve would beat reigning world champion Alan Jones by almost 40 seconds!
Ferrari's Didier Pironi brought his Ferrari 126CK home in 4th place, one lap behind Gilles.
It measures some 40 x 60 cm or 16 x 24 inches.
Although this poster is in generally decent condition, it does have a fair degree of discoloration and, oddly enough, 4 pin holes along the left hand side. There is a degree of wrinkling on the right hand side, mostly visible on the back.
The poster gives the impression of having been, poorly, framed for a a prolonged period of time. A good frame will work wonders for tis poster.
