Ferrari 250 GTO Brochures Manuals Memorabilia and Literature
1962 Journalist's record of the 1000 KM de Paris - Linas Montlhery.
Here we have a pretty unique set of documentation... it is the complete set of items collected and drawn up during the 1962 1000KM race at Paris by German motorsports journalist Alfred Brinkmann.
Not less than 16 (!) Ferrari 250 GTO's in the entry list for the event and amazingly enough, the race was won by Pedro & Ricardo Rodriguez on... Ferrari GTO!
The set consists of the following:
Even though the entry list lists 16 Ferrari GTO's the reality was somewhat different...
A HIGHLY interesting set!
Only 1 set available.
Vintage 1963 Photo Sequence, Ferrari 250 GTO S/N 3647GT, crashed at the Tourist Trophy, Goodwood.
This is a vintage 1963 photo sequence of Tommy Hitchcock just having crashed the Ferrari 250 GTO of Prince Zourab Tchkotoua during the 1963 Tourist Trophy at Goodwood.
Hitchcock did more or less the same thing some 3 months earlier when he put the same car on its roof during the Nurburgring 1000 KM.
The car in question is S/N 3647 which of course survives to this day.
All 6 photos are vintage prints, i.e. printed shortly after the original image was captured on film and were shot by the same photographer.
Each photo measures some 22 x 16.5 cm or 8.7 x 6.5 inches.
The back carries the photographer's stamp along with a lot of scribbling.
We'll give a short description of each of the photos:
Truly a unique set of contemporary "documents" on a very important Ferrari and a unique happening!
These are vintage prints, i.e. printed shortly after the original image was captured on film.

This is a vintage 1963 photo of the Ferrari 250GTO of Pierre Noblet which he drove to First-in-Class & 2nd overall with Jean Guichet during the Nurburgring 1000 KM race.
I believe it is Pierre Noblet in the picture but I am not entirely sure.
The car has an extensive racing history and now seems to reside in the USA.
The photo measures some 24.5 x 16 cm or 9 x 6 inches and is in mint condition.
The back carries the photographer's stamp.

Please note that in the large picture, we are showing both the negative AND a positive representation of it but that this items concerns only the negative. The positive is merely there for illustration purposes to show you what a print would look like.
Since this is the original negative, it comes including the copyright so the buyer is free to reproduce it, also for commercial purposes!
It is a professional quality negative of 6 x 6 cm.
Vintage 1964 photo of Ferrari 250 GTO S/N 4153GT at the Nurburgring 1000 KM.

1964 Le Mans 24 Hours Pits Ticket - Wilkie Wilkinson.
EXTREMELY RARE!
This is the original badge worn by Wilkie Wilkinson (co-founder of Ecurie Ecosse) during the 1964 24 Heures du Mans.
For this race, Wilkie was present to co-manage the Maranello Consessionaires entries which consisted of the # 14 Ferrari 330P S/N 0818 (destroyed in 1966) of Graham Hill & Joakim Bonnier which finished second and the # 25 Ferrari 250 GTO S/N 4399GT (rebodied to "250 GTO 64" style, now resides in the UK) of Innes Ireland & Tony Maggs who finished 6th.
A GREAT piece of Le Mans history that came from the estate of Wilkie Wilkinson!
Vintage 1965 photo of Ferrari 250 GTO # 4491GT & 250 GTO 64 # 4399GT - 1000 KM Nurburgring.
This is a vintage photo of TWO Ferrari's GTO in ONE shot!
It was taken during the 1965 1000KM race at the Nurburgring and shows the # 64 Ferrari 250 GTO (S/N 4491) of Peter Sutcliffe which he shared with "Lumsden" for this race and who made it to first-in-class and 15th overall and the # 65 Ferrari 250 GTO 64 (S/N 4399) of Gordon Durham which was raced by Salmon / Kerrison and who were forced to retire with engine trouble.
Both cars have an interesting history...
S/N 4399GT started its life as a "normal" 250 GTO and was rebodied to "64" shape in late 1963 by Scaglietti. It seems to reside in the UK nowadays.
S/N 4491GT also started out as a normal 250 GTO and was originally owned by David Piper who had the roofline and windscreen lowered which is clearly visible in this picture. It was changed back to a standard 250 GTO roofline by its current owner in the early 1980's. It now seems to reside in Italy.
The photo measures some 24 x 18 cm or 9 x 7 inches.
1960 Ferrari Employee's Pass.
Here we have an absolute rarity from the Ferrari factory!
This is a vintage & original Ferrari factory employee's pass dating from 1960.
These passes were needed for identification purposes.
The pass shows quite a lot of personal details of its former owner so we have digitally blocked these details in the picture. The item itself is of course untouched.
The pass was issued on July 11 1960 and prolonged for the next 5 consecutive years.
If you own a Ferrari which was manufactured during these years, it could very well be that this gentleman put the finishing touches on YOUR car!
An ULTRA scarce "Ferrari internal" item!

1966 Targa Florio Race Poster Vintage Original.
This is a great VINTAGE poster for the 50th (!) running of the Targa Florio.
It shows a great image of a Bugatti being chased by an Alfa Romeo.
It is printed on very thin paper but it is in pretty good condition. It has been folded twice (most probably original folds) and has been stored rolled for the last decade or so.
The race was won by Willy Mairesse & Herbert Muller in their Porsche 906.
The poster measures some 70 x 100 cm or 28 x 40 inches and was printed in Palermo, Sicily (where else?).
This is a vintage and original set of Borrani RW 3801 wire wheels as fitted to, amongst others, the Ferrari 250 GT/L Lusso, Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 and Ferrari 250 GTO.
All 4 are in good condition but will require recommissioning before being put to use again (spoke checking / replacing).
2 of them currently still have tires on them which we will remove before shipping.
The other 2 have been "tumbled" to clean & polish them and they responded very well to this treatment.
Please note that these are vintage wheels with the correct stamping which is important if you are taking your car to concourses as the current production Borrani wheels (with different stamping) will loose you points!
The hubs are type 42.
Please note that the volume & weight of these wheels is considerable. We will however make arrangements to have these shipped according to your preferences and the fowarder of your choice.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at info@ferraristuff.com.
