April 6 & 7, 1963.

This poster advertised the "3eme Criterium International de Vitesse Motocycliste 300 - 500 cc" which was of course a motorcycle race AND the tests / qualifying sessions for the upcoming 24 Heures du Mans.
The artwork shows an artist impression (by Beligond) of a motorcycle racing side by side with a Ferrari sportscar.
The race itself was won by Lorenzo Bandini & Ludovico Scarfiotti in their Nr 21 Ferrari 250 P S/N 0814 with a total of 339 laps to their name.

This is a vintage 1963 photo of the Ferrari factory entered Ferrari 250P which was driven to victory by Lorenzo Bandini & Ludovico Scarfiotti at the 24 hours of Le Mans.
The car covered a total of 339 laps.
The car, Chassis Number 0814, burned out in 1966 at St. Jovite - Mont Tremblant and was damaged severely. Nowadays it is the center point of of historical and legal controversy during its "restoration".
The photo measures some 22 x 16 cm or 9 x 6 inches and is in mint condition.
The back carries the photographer's stamp.

This is a vintage 1963 photo of a nightly pitstop of the factory entered Ferrari 250P of John Surtees and Willy Mairesse with John Surtees graciously leaping from the car during the 1963 running of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
The car in question is S/N 0812 which caught fire during the race on Sunday but was repaired after this incident and survives to this day.
The photos is in excellent condition and comes from the archives of the late and great Geoffrey Goddard and consequently carries his stamp on the back.
It measures a royal 24.5 x 20 cm or some 9.5 x 8 inches.
The race was won by Lorenzo Bandini and Ludovico Scarfiotti in their # 21 Ferrari 250 P (S/N 0814) with a total of 339 laps to their name.

This is a vintage 1963 photo of the factory entered Ferrari 250P of John Surtees and Willy Mairesse en route to victory in the 1963 running of the 1000km of the Nurburgring.
The photo shows a very fanatic looking Willy Mairesse (did we know him in any other way?) at an unknown section of the track.
The car in question, S/N 0812, survives to this day.

This is a vintage photograph of the Ferrari 250P (# 22) of Mike Parkes & Umberto Maglioli during the April 6 & 7 1963 tests / qualification for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The duo would go on to finish 3rd in the race with a total of 323 Laps to their name.
S/N 810 survives to this date in the USA.
This is a so-called "wire photo" which was sent around the world by Interpress from Paris, France in April 1963 and comes complete with a brief description as shown in the scan.
The photo measures some 18 x 13 cm or 7 x 5 inches.
The back carries the stamp of Interpress.
Very good condition but with pinholes in the corners.
1963 Targa Florio Pits print - Ferrari 250P - Simca Abarth 1300 Bialbero.
This is a vintage 1964 print of a pits scene during practice for the 1963 running of the Targa Florio.
It shows the # 174 Ferrari 250P S/N 0810 of Mike Parkes & John Surtees (accident after 4 laps) and the Abarth Simca 1300 Bialbero o# 40 of Enzo Buzzetti & Renzo Sinibaldi (DNF after 2 laps).
The Ferrari is S/N 0810 which survives to this date in the USA.
The print COULD come from Castrol Oil as we have seen similar images in Castrol publications of that era and measures some 25 x 18 cm or 10 x 7 inches.
It is in near mint condition.
1963 Targa Florio print - Ferrari 250P S/N 0812 - Ludovico Scarfiotti.
This is a vintage 1964 print of Ludovico Scarfiotti at speed in a Sicilian village during the 1963 running of the Targa Florio.
Scarfiotti was partnered with "Wild" Willy Mairesse and unfortunately, the car was crashed on the 4th lap.
The car, bearing # 172 in this race, is S/N 0812 which survives to this day.

April 18 & 19, 1964.
This poster advertised the "4eme Criterium International de Vitesse Motocycliste 300 - 500 cc" which was of course a motorcycle race AND the tests / qualifying sessions for the upcoming 24 Heures du Mans.
The race itself was won by Jean Guichet & Nino Vaccarella in their # 20 Ferrari 275P S/N 0816 with a total of 4695 KM to their name.

1968 Chinetti / Peak Ferrari 2-75P Sales Card S/N 0812.
This is an original "sales" card for the Luigi Chinetti / Peak Research Ferrari 2-75P.
This show model was based on the Ferrari 275P with S/N 0812 and was shown at the 1968 New York Auto Show.
The car has been modified back to its original configuration in the mean time and survives to this day.
It measures approximately 20.5 x 13 cm or 8 x 6.5 inches.
