1984 Le Mans Race Poster.
June 16 & 17, 1984

The race was won by Henri Pescarolo & Klaus Ludwig in their Porsche 956B with a total of 360 laps to their name.
The sole entered Ferrari was the 512 BB/LM Speciale (Pininfarina Streamline Body) with S/N 35529 of Maurizio Micangli / Roberto Marazzi / Dominique Lacaud with racenumber 27 which retired in lap 65 with gearbox problems.

Ixo Ferrari BB512 1976 Scale Model 1/43.
This is a 1/43rd scale diecast model of the 1976 Ferrari BB512.
The model is issued by Ixo Models who recently concluded a deal with Hotwheels / Mattel (holder of the license to produce official Ferrari models) to produce 1/43 scale models of the current Ferrari range of automobiles.
Scale 1:43, measures some 4 inches or 10 cm in length and comes in a display box.
This is of course an officially licensed model.
1982 Ixo Ferrari BB512LM Le Mans Scale Model S/N 41263 1/43.
This is a 1/43rd scale diecast model of the BB512 LM as driven by C. Ballot-Lena, J.C. Andruet and H.Regou in the 1982 running of the Le Mans 24 hours. The car dropped out of the race after 5 hours, due to an unknow cause but most probably engine failure.
The car in question is Ferrari 512 BB/LM S/N 41263 which of course survives to this day.
Ferrari BB512 Friction Model by Gorgo of Argentina in Red.
This Ferrari BB512 scale model is in scale 1/24th and has a friction drive on the front wheels.
You will normally not find these models so easily as the were manufactured in Argentina (of all places!) in the 1970's by a now defunct toy maker called "Gorgo".
The box carries the the Ferrari script logo and the bottom plate of the model is marked with the BB512 logo.
This model is made of plastic and measures approximately 7 inches in length.
Very good, near mint condition, except some warping at the right side of the red upper part (visible in the pictures). Comes complete with its original box (SCARCE!).
