Vintage 1965 (LARGE !) photograph of Lorenzo Bandini testing Dino 166P S/N 0834 at Modena Track.
This is a vintage April 1965 photo of the famous Ferrari Dino 166P (S/N 0834) being tested by Scuderia Ferrari factory driver Lorenzo Bandini at Modena race track prior to its first race outing.
Judging by the brake dust on the front wheel, Lorenzo had already put a couple of laps on it when this photo was taken.
About a month later, Nino Vaccarella and the same Lorenzo Bandini would gun this 1600cc pocket rocket so fast around the Nurburgring track during the 1965 1000KM race that both officials and competitors had a hard time believing that this was actually a 1600cc car and under the watchful eye of the race commissioners the engine was taken apart after the race to verify its displacement!
The car was later "chopped" to Barchetta specification and succesfully entered in various hillclimb events and giving Ludovico Scarfiotti the 1965 European hillclimb championship.
The car survives to this day and seems to reside in the UK.
This LARGE photo measures some 30 x 20 cm or 11.8 x 7.9 inches and is in very good condition.
The back carries NO references to a possible photographer.

Only 1 available of course as every autographed item is unique and we provide a Certificate of Authenticity with it which guarantees that this is a genuine Enzo Ferrari signature.

Vintage 1961 photograph of Ferrari 250 GT SWB S/N 2937GT at the 1000KM of Paris.
This is a vintage photo of the 250 SWB of Willy Mairesse and Lucien Bianchi during a pitstop in the 1000 KM de Paris on October 22, 1961 at Montlhery race track.
The car sustained severe damage to its left front wing but still the duo managed a respectable 2nd in class and 2nd overall.
The car was property of, and entered by, Garage Francorchamps in Belgium and raced a total of 3 times after which it was sold to France and rallied extensively by two consequetive (French) owners after which it went to the largest Ferrari collection in France in the second half of the 1960's where it still seems to reside.
The photo measures some 23.5 x 18 cm or 9.25 x 7 inches and is in very good condition.
Vintage 1960 photo of Olivier Gendebien on Ferrari 250TR S/N 0774TR, Le Mans 24 Hours.
This is a GREAT shot of, what looks to be, Olivier Gendebien, recovering from a rare "off" at Mulsanne corner during the 1960 running of the 24 hours of Le Mans.
It appears the be taken in the early evening of Saturday June 26, 1960 as the cars have their lights on already and the rain is pouring.
The duo (Olivier Gendebien & Paul Frere) would go on to win the race with a total of 314 laps to their name.
The car in question, S/N 0774TR, now resides in Hong Kong.
The photo measures some 6.3 x 4.3 inches or 16 x 11 cm, is in mint condition bar some glue & album residue on the back.

1951 Ferrari 30 Anni Di Esperienze Brochure.
I have seen this brochure being called "The Holy Grail of Ferrari Brochures"... Maybe that is a little bit over the top but how many of you have actually seen one of these, let alone have it in your collection?
We are very proud to be able to offer this very good (yet fragile!) example of this VERY scarce and famous brochure.
The brochure elaborates on the 3 models that Ferrari produced in those days:
and next to a good number of drawings, including the famous "photo" of Jim Kimberly, it lists engine and chassis details.
It unfolds to 4 double-sided panes and is in full color.
It is in very good condition, but as mentioned above, has fragile seams of which one has split.
Remember... the Ferrari company as such was only 3 years old at that time yet Enzo was using his experience as race team manger at Alfa Romeo and ownership of Auto Avio Costruzzioni to boost the reputation of Ferrari as a car maker.

Vintage 1967 color slide of Lorenzo Bandini in his very last lap at the Monaco Grand Prix on May 7, 1967.
In this picture we see Lorenzo heading towards the Portier turn in lap 87 of the Grand Prix.
An Italian team leader at Ferrari, Bandini was under considerable pressure to perform. At Monaco in 1967 he was lying second late in the race. On lap 82 of the scheduled 100, probably due to fatigue, Bandini misjudged his entry to the harbour front chicane. The Ferrari clipped some straw bales and overturned, on fire and with Bandini trapped inside.
The raging inferno made rescue difficult, a situation not helped by a TV helicopter fanning the flames from above. Eventually, Bandini was removed and taken to the Princess Grace Hospital, terribly burned. He held onto life for three days before eventually succumbing. In a cruel postscript, Bandini’s wife, expecting the couple’s first child, suffered a miscarriage. An estimated 100,000 people attended Bandini's funeral.

This is a vintage negative of the Ferrari 250 of Jean Guichet at the start of the 5th Stallavena hillclimb with Edigio Nicodesi at the wheel.
Nicodesi finished 2nd in class and 5th overall.
The car in question, S/N 3705 GT was bought by Nicodesi from Guichet a mere month later and now seems to reside in Florida, USA.
Please note that in the large picture, we are showing both the negative AND a positive representation of it but that this items concerns only the negative. The positive is merely there for illustration purposes to show you what a print would look like.
Since this is the original negative, it comes including the copyright so the buyer is free to reproduce it, also for commercial purposes!
It is a professional quality negative of 6 x 6 cm.
This is a vintage 1955 photo of Piero Taruffi in his # 727 Ferrari 118LM (S/N 0484LM) chasing Cesare Perdisa in his # 728 Maserati 300S Fantuzzi (S/N 3054) during the 1955 Mille Miglia.
Given the fact that the startnumber indicates the actual starting time (i.e. 727 started at 7.27 AM; 728 at 7.28 AM) Taruffi already made up 1 minute on Perdisa so this must be rather early on in the race and Perdisa even finds time to wave at the crowd.
Eventually none of the two cars & drivers would make it to the finish; Taruffi dropping out after exactly 5 hours, 4 minutes and 54 seconds with a broken oil pump and Perdisa a mere 15 minutes later for reasons unknown to us.
Both cars surive to this day.
The photo measures some 22 x 17 cm or 8.7 x 6.7 inches and carries the stamp of the photographer on the back.
Only 1 (ONE) available of course!
This is a vintage 1966 COLOR photo of Ferrari Dino 206S S/N 012 being prepared in the paddock for the 1966 24 Heures du Mans.
The car, entered by British Ferrari importers Maranello Concessionaires and in their typical red & blue livery, was supposed to be driven by David Hobbs and Mike Salmon but it dropped out of the race in after a mere 4 hours with rear axle troubles. Poor Mike never got round to driving it...
The car now seems to reside in the USA.
We would like to stress that this is a very rare photograph, especially since it is a vintage 1966 print and in color, of this car's only recorded race outing.
The photo measures some 12 x 8.5 com or 4.9 x 3.39 inches.
This is a vintage 1966 COLOR photo of Ferrari 365 P2 Spyder S/N 0826 being prepared in the paddock for the 1966 24 Heures du Mans.
The car, entered by British Ferrari importers Maranello Concessionaires and in their typical red & blue livery, was driven by Dicky Attwood and David Piper but it dropped out of the race in after a mere 3 hours and 49 minutes with water pump trouble.
The car seems to reside in an important collection in the USA since the late 1980's.
We would like to stress that this is a very rare photograph, especially since it is a vintage 1966 print and in color.
1985 Ferrari 328 GTB / 328 GTS Temporary Owners Manual # 389/85.
A very rare owner's manual which was issued at the end of 1985 for the then new Ferrari 328.

The first "real" owner's manual would be issued 7 "print-numbers" later, # 396/85.

Vintage August 9 1925 Illustrazione del Popolo - Antonio Ascari killed in Alfa Romeo P2 - Magazine.
This is a vintage & original issue of the Illustrazione del Popolo of August 9, 1925 with on the cover an artist impression of the untimely death of Italian racing ace Antonio Ascari during the Grand Prix of France at Montlhery race track.
Antonio won the inaugural race of the Vittorio Jano designed Alfa Romeo P2 at Cremona, followed by the Italian Grand Prix at Monza in 1924 and in 1925 he won the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.
Antonio was leading the French Grand Prix in his Alfa P2 when he crashed and died on his way to hospital.
His son, Alberto, who was a mere 7 years old at that moment, would later go on to become a racing ace in his own right by becoming Formula One's first double World Champion (1952 & 1953).
Indirectly, the Antonio Ascari crash push-started the birth of Scuderia Ferrari as the Alfa Romeo P2's were laid up after the accident and Enzo Ferrari managed to buy one of the P2's and hired young racing driver Tazio Nuvolari to drive it... the rest is history...
The magazine is in decent condition but of course very fragile (it is over 80 years old!).
Only 1 (ONE) available.

The race was won by New-Zealanders Bruce McLaren & Chris Amon in their Shelby American entered Ford MKII (S/N 1046) with a total of 360 laps to their name.
For Ferrari, it was almost the ultimate humiliation as first of all, archrival Ford took the win and second place but also because only 2 out of the 14 (!) Ferraris that were entered made it to the finish...
The following Ferraris were entered:

2 Vintage 1958 photos of Mike Hawthorn on Ferrari 246, Race of two Worlds, Monza.
This lot consists of two photographs taken in the paddock preceeding the 1958 Race of Two Worlds (or Monzanapolis) on June 29, 1958.
The first photograph shows Mike in his # 12 Ferrari 246 and the second shows the same car surrounded by the crowd.
The race of Two Worlds was basically an exhibition event to show both American and European teams to the public and was held in 1957 & 1958 at the banked track of Monza.
These photographs date from the 1958 event and quite an event it was for Ferrari!
In the first heat (of 3) Luigi Musso succumbed to the methanol fumes and handed his car over to Mike Hawthorn in lap 27. Musso returned to the wheel in the last lap and brought the car home in 6th place.
In the third heat, Mike suffered the same fate as Luigi did in the first and handed the car over to Phil Hill who brought the car up to third place before handing it back to Mike again.
All in all, not a great succes for Ferrari!
These are vintage photos, i.e. they were printed shortly after the image was captured on film.
Each photo measures some 10 x 7 cm or 4 x 2.75 inches and are in excellent condition.
